BaseCamp athlete Clovis Pitchford shared his experience at the 2025 Hincapie Gran Fondo Chattanooga in Tennessee.

Braved the rain and rode Gran Fondo Hincapie Chattanooga (79 mi, 6000 feet) Saturday morning! I wasn’t so sure about it, but my wife nudged me out of bed around 0320 to get to the starting line.

Chased people half my age.

Finished 76th overall, 19th in age group.

Saved all my matches for the last climb.
